Dbq upon Differences Between New Great britain and Chesapeake Area Essay

Two unique societies were constructed simply by people of common origins. These English colonists moved to the New Community for either economic success or religious freedom. During colonization, two regions had been formed, Fresh England plus the Chesapeake Gulf area. Both the contrasting communities of New Great britain and Chesapeake region were the results of range of: cultural and family structure; into the living conditions; economic climate; religion and beliefs; and government procedures.

Mentioned previously in Document A, unanimity was motivated among New Englanders, which will developed into close societies. The close societies generally built a bond of trust within the community, knowing that neighbors will come together in times of danger. Document A likewise stresses the value of coming together as one, and also to promote the welfare in the community. In so doing, the community is allowed to strive and flourish. On the contrary, Document F facilitates the idea that there were little oneness within the Chesapeake societies. Document F claims, " There was no talkВ…but dig rare metal, wash rare metal, refine gold, load goldВ…" Shown in Documents N and G, the emigrants to New England had been often entire families. People in the society resulted in human population increases because of higher reproduction rates. The larger reproduction prices allowed for more stable societies. As Files C, F, and G assert, the Chesapeake location consisted primarily of single men and few women. Few ladies in the area resulted in hardly any families, reduced reproductive rates, and smaller sized and less steady societies.

The conditions of New Great britain and the Chesapeake region had been very different. Record F statements, " В…our ordinary [food] was nevertheless mean and water so that this В… little happy our desires, whereby with extremity of the bitter chilly frost В… more than half individuals died.
